CLAUTIERE VINEYARD, PASO ROBLES, CA - Originally a family owned ranch dating back to the 1940s, the property also includes vineyards which were planted in the 1980s to Syrah, Mouvedre, & Cabernet. Since Syrah "quickly became a favorite," the owners, Claudine and Terry, have kept with the Rhone theme. They added more clones of Syrah, as well as Grenache, Viognier, and Cournoise. They have also put in an acre of Portuguese varietals which they will fashion into a port-style wine in coming years.

EL MOLINO, NAPA VALLEY, CA - was one of the first wineries in the Napa Valley. Founded in 1871 by W.W. Lyman, the winery was built three miles north of St. Helena and operated until prohibition. Completely restored in 1981, including its hand-dug tunnel, it is now family-owned and operated. Conditions are ideal for limited production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We take pride in producing handcrafted wines using old-world techniques.

LAVA CAP WINERY, EL DORADO, CA - These vineyards are located high in the foothills of the magnificent Sierra Nevadas, offering an outstanding selection of mountain-grown wines that are noted for intense varietal flavors and aromas. The wines are produced from their estate vineyards, which are under the diligent care of Charlie Jones, Vineyard manager. Low yields and lots of sunlight, warm days and cool nights, all contribute to grapes of marvelous character.

CHARLES GARDET, CHAMPAGNE - The story of Champagne Gardet at the end of the 19th Century with Charles Gardet (1870-1913). He was a director of a small House in Mareuil sur Ay which has since disappeared. In 1895, he created his own Marque at Dizy and, later, Epernay. His son, Georges (1895-1952), revived the House during the Twenties and moved his cellars to Chigny les Roses in the heart of the Montagne de Reims to facilitate the development of the buisiness. Since then, our House has been guided by successive members of the family, following the policy laid down a century ago to respect tradition and to take the greatest care in producing top class Cuvees.

CHATEAU PAJZOS, HUNGARY -In east Hungary, in the heart of the Tokaj vineyards – whose wines King Louis XIV dubbed “The wine of kings, the king of wines” – stands Chateau Pajzos. The 200 acres of this domaine are among the few properties that share the classified area of the Grand Crus. Very hot summers and wet autumns followed by fine, dry weather offer the grapes optimum ripening conditions. The grapes are hand-harvested and go through a rigorous quality-control process during which only the best ones are selected. The wines are aged in a fascinating network of historic underground tunnels that once served as shelters from hordes of invaders and conquerors.
